Tras cerca de nueve meses de conversaciones, este jueves la Bolsa de Comercio anunciará oficialmente su alianza con Marco Polo, la que permitirá transacciones bursátiles con más de 60 mercados emergentes de forma electrónica.
Según explicó el CEO de Marco Polo, Diego Baez, la asociación permitirá que nuevos capitales ingresen al país, los mismos que dotarán de una mayor profundidad y dinamismo al mercado bursátil local.
Marco Polo, firma que entre sus propietarios tiene a la Bolsa de Nueva York e indirectamente al Banco Mundial, posee convenios con bancos de inversión como Merrill Lynch, BNP, UBS y Morgan Stanley, entre otros.
José Antonio Martínez, gerente general de la Bolsa de Comercio, explicó que la alianza posibilitará la emisión y ejecución automática de una diversidad de órdenes provenientes de mercados internacionales.
